Publicity – helping to publicize events thru news media of all kinds, delivering flyers and pamphlets, mailing postcards.

Misc.- We need people to cut up blankets and sheets for our cages, hem bandanas, and store towels and bedding for us till our shelter is open as space is limited in our present quarters. We are looking for anyone who can put grommets in the corners of blankets to be used as hammocks for the cats.

All of these jobs are important to ensure the successful operation of an animal shelter. We are a organization of all volunteers. We receive no funding other than donations. If you decide to help, you will have a chance to help homeless animals, meet new people and develop friendships, and provide a great service to the City of Brooklyn and its people. These are exciting times for BAS, Inc. We are forming our procedures through experience and help from other shelters like Parma Animal Shelter and the Cleveland APL. We appreciate their advice and support very much.
