We will be having training/orientation sessions for care of
the animals on Monday July 6 at 10 AM and 6 PM. If you
cannot attend one of those sessions please let us know and
we will try to setup an individual session with you. We will
also have someone work with you at your scheduled time until
you feel comfortable being on your own.
We also need to find out what day you would like to be added
to the weekly schedule. Currently we are in need of people
on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. It takes about
an hour or two to do the entire pool house by yourself. If
you are scheduled with another volunteer that will be cut in
half.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks again for joining our "family" of animal care
givers.

We had a splendid turnout of
volunteers to work the Nautica Charity Poker Fest this
past Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to their efforts and the
management of our Pit Boss, Kit Krause, we were able to
present an organized, smoothly-run operation. We broke
the record for proceeds earned on a Tuesday night at
Nautica. A full report of the income, expenses and
profit realized will be available at our next meeting
Tuesday, July 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Brooklyn Library.
